Kepler collects and uses information needed to operate the platform and support users.

Information collected

Kepler may collect information including:

• Name, phone number and email address.
• Account identifiers and login records.
• RFQs, quotations, orders, bookings and project records.
• Invoices, payment references and transaction records.
• Uploaded files, payment proof, images and supporting documents.
• Property listing information and related media.
• Notifications, messages and support communications.
• Device, browser and application information required for security and troubleshooting.

Location Information

Where location-based features are used, Kepler may process approximate or precise location information for mapping, property services, deliveries, site visits, vehicles, equipment mobilisation, and service fulfilment.

Payments and Transactions

Payments may be processed through approved providers including banks, mobile money operators, payment gateways such as Pesapal, and other authorised payment processors. Kepler stores transaction references and payment records required for reconciliation, support and compliance.

Third-Party Services

Kepler uses third-party technology providers including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Realtime Database, Firebase Cloud Messaging, mapping services, hosting providers, payment processors and communication providers where necessary to operate the platform.

Data Retention

Kepler may retain records, invoices, quotations, RFQs, bookings, project information, notifications, payment records and supporting documents for operational, legal, audit, security and business continuity purposes.

Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion by contacting Kepler. Certain records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, audit, payment verification, dispute resolution or regulatory obligations.

How it is used

• To process requests, quotes, bookings, orders and payments.
• To send in-app, email, push, WhatsApp or SMS notifications where enabled.
• To provide support, security, receipts, audit trails and platform improvements.

Sharing

Information may be shared with authorised Kepler staff, service providers, contractors, vendors or payment processors where necessary.

Security

Users must keep login credentials, OTPs and verification codes secure. Kepler uses authentication controls, access restrictions, audit records, database security rules, monitoring and other reasonable safeguards to protect information stored on the platform.
